Jody Lee Cox, age 52, of White Pine, formerly of Morristown, entered his eternal home on his birthday, Tuesday, April 4, 2023 after a long illness, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

He attended Morristown Church of God in his youth. He was a loving son, brother, and friend who wanted to take care of everyone.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Leon Cox.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Ann Shipman Cox; sisters, Peggy (David) Henderson, and Teres Ridley; brother, Danny (Judy Cox; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jason Lemka and Rev. Brian Rhodes officiating.

Graveside/interment services will be Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Bethesda Cemetery.
