B’s Custom Occasions along with The Vale hosted an 80’s and 90’s themed networking event downtown Friday evening.

Night of Nostalgia was a night for vendors specializing in event-based products to strut their stuff and showcase their craft. Bakers, photo booth owners, DJ’s, photographers, event planners and more gathered for the evening and enjoyed sharing resources and inspiration.

Tickets were sold in advance to the public for this event as well as at the door. Attendees could enjoy the photobooths, glamour shots, free samples and food from the Big Al’s Barbecue and Catering. What The Fluff mobile cotton candy and desserts was there as well with freshly spun cotton candy and other varieties of sweets.

Multiple themed selfie stations were set up throughout the venue and Memories By Renee Hardin as well as Til Death Do Us Party Photo Booth and Rentals had their photobooths set up so people could have their photos printed to take home right then and there.

Both vintage and current dresses provided by Trinkets and Treasures were on display and neon glow décor designed by Bridgette Reagan of B’s Custom Occasions provided the perfect ambiance of the 80’s. Vintage props provided by Allie Fae Vintage also really helped set the mood and Craig Lakins, owner of The Vale, DJ’d everyone’s favorite 80s and 90s hits on DJ equipment provided by KC Entertainment prompting many people to take to the dance floor in spite of themselves.

When people had gotten their fill of dancing they enjoyed nostalgic arcade games such as Pacman on gaming systems provided The Monster Movie Stompdown and headed to have professional glamour shots done by Serenity Grace Studio after having their hair teased and their makeup done by Beauty By Nicole Wright.

Many people dressed for the occasion and a best dressed prize was offered for the person who wore their best 80’s and 90’s themed attire. The Best Dressed prize was won by Dr. Bruce Roff from Roots of Wellness located in Dandridge.
