Ruby (Taylor) Spence age 77, of Knoxville passed away at UT Hospital on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

She faithfully attended Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of Raven Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. Clayton Spence, Jr. Father Isaac Taylor. Mother Rutha Taylor. Brothers Alf Taylor, Bob Taylor, Fred Taylor, and Ray Taylor. Sisters, Clara Emma Taylor, Mary Taylor, and Marie Atkins.

She is survived by her son, Tim Spence. Daughter, Tammy (Mike) Rooney. Grandson, Paris (Michaela) Spence. Granddaughter, Mattie Rooney. Brothers, Paul Taylor, twin brother Roy Taylor, Shirley Taylor, and Bruce Taylor. Sister, Louise Taylor. Special niece April (Spence) Shaffer. And many nephews and nieces that she loved like her own.

The family will receive friends Wednesday March 29, 2023 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday March 30, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church in Washburn, TN. A graveside service will follow in the Dalton Cemetery in Thorn Hill, TN, with Minister: Rev. James Long Obituary: Rev.
