Jesse J. Vance age 89, of Talbott, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Jesse was a member of Jefferson City Church of Christ. Jesse was a U.S. Army Veteran, proudly serving in Bosnia during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he worked inNew Jersey and Asarco zinc mines. He retired after 38 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, MaeBelle Cameron Vance; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Donna Vance; son, Mike Vance; father and mother, James E. And Ruth Sellers Vance; sisters, Wilma Breeden and Johnny Vance; good friend and companion, Juanita Green.

He is survived by granddaughter/daughter whom he raised, Chasity Vance Scott; granddaughter, Bridgett Hickson; grandsons, Shawn (Jeri) Vance and Josh Vance; 9 great-grandchildren, 3 whom lived with him for several years, Breanna Scott, Kyndall Scott-Wright and Camryn Scott; 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Vance; special friends Bobby and Thelma McGhee, and Gene and Judy Ingram.

Funeral service 7:00 pm Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Fielden Fielden Funeral Home. Interment 2:00 pm Friday in Jefferson Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
