The Morristown East soccer team picked up their first win of the season on Tuesday evening against South Doyle, 2-1.

With the win, the ‘Canes moved to 1-1 on the season.

Goals for Morristown East on Tuesday evening were scored by Alfredo Hernandez and Eliud Cordova.

Morristown East will be back in action over the weekend, taking part in the Smoky Mountain Cup at the Rocky Top Sports World in Gatlinburg. The ‘Canes will play CAK on Thursday at 8 p.m., South Doyle on Friday at 8 p.m. and Seymour on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
