The Lakeway Christian Academy Theatre Department will present Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1883 classic, “Treasure Island,” directed by LCA Theatre Program Director, Chris Morelock, and featuring a cast and crew of LCAstudents with support from faculty and staff.

Robert Lous Stevenson’s most well-known book is brought to life onstage by a talented student cast and crew.

“Treasure Island” comes complete with a lionhearted young hero, ruthless pirates, merciless mutiny and buried treasure.

Audiences will experience the story through the imagination of Emily, whose heart’s desire is to become a pirate.

The stage can become anyplace and the actors anyone thanks to Emily’s adventurous imagination, so audiences are encouraged to grab a ticket, sit back and enjoy the wild voyage.

Compasses are set, sails are at full and the map is marked for Treasure Island.

Organizers say this is a “Must See” staged adventure for all ages.

The cast for this production features Abby Lawson as Emily; Leelu Jack as Jack Abraham, Billy Bones & Samuel Hunter; London Ruble as Captain Henry Payne & George Merry; Samantha Miles as One-Eyed Bart & Israel Hands; Tara Tarr as Marry Ann Evans, Jim’s Mother & Tom Morgan; Elsa Rosser as Black Dog & Patrick O’Brien; Natalie Long as Doctor Livesay; William Casey as Captain Smollett; Cadyn Dimery as Long John Silver; J.T. Kirkpatrick as Benn Gunn & Kenton Rudolph as Dick Johnson & Parrott.

The production crew is comprised of Hannah Brooks (Assistant Director); Kevin Barrows (Stage Manager); Max Davis (Assistant Stage Manager); Ava Jensen & William Casey (Fight Choreography); Myla Russell, Birdie Russell & Kacey Pillion (Costumes); Myla Russell & Chris Morelock (Props); Chris Morelock & Jessica Morelock (Sets); Josh Jenkins (Lights); Daniel Newgent (Sound); Myla Russell (Makeup); Gregg Perry (Photography) & Spencer Morris & South Marketing Group (Promotions).
