The Riverside Quartet from Sneedville will be singing at the 6 p.m. service, Sunday, March 5, at Freedom Chapel Church, located at 1721 Helton Road in Bean Station. Everyone welcome. Pastor is Rev. Jason Cotter.

The English Family, of Rogersville, will be singing at Greene’s Chapel Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 5. Everyone welcome. Pastor is Rev. Jack Greene.

Manley Baptist Church, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, will hold a free food distribution on Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to noon, or until supplies run out. The church is located at 3603 West Andrew Johnson Highway in Morristown. First come first served.

Organist Dale Stanton will offer a recital under the theme, ā€œLove Divine! A Festival of Hymns Celebrating God’s Love.ā€ The program consists of improvisations on hymns which all contain the word ā€œloveā€ in the title. The event is Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2717 Buffalo Trail, Morristown, across from Lakemoore subdivision. The event is free and the public is invited.

During the Lent season, the sanctuary of Rogersville First United Methodist Church will be open for prayer on Sunday evening’s beginning at 6 p.m. There is no structured program. The time will start with a brief devotional or word of scripture. Praise music will be playing. Those wanting to sit quietly and listen for God, to sing or pray, they are welcome to do that. This is a time to open our hearts to god and to pray for the church, community and those who need healing in whatever way. Everyone welcome. Pastor is Rev. Elaine Ruth.

Young’s Temple AME Zion Church, located at 328 West Ninth North Street in Morristown, will host the ā€œBut Godā€ Revival from Thursday, March, 23 to Saturday, March 25. Praise and worship begins at 6:30 p.m. with services beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. On Thursday, March 23, Apostle Dennis S. Kyle, pastor of Dominion Life Worship Center will preach with music by the Prophetic Sound Praise Team. Friday, March 24, Clifton Jackson, former pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, will bring the message with music by the Potters House Praise Team. The event will conclude Saturday, March 25 with Pastor John Jones, of Martha Davis Baptist Church with music by the Martha Davis Baptist Church Choir.

Praise and worship leader is Bishop Anthony Span, Sr., of Potters House Church and Host Pastor Wayne Purcell of Young’s Temple will serve as master of ceremonies. Refreshments will be available following each service. Everyone welcome.
