Teresa Carey of Bean Station (center) was recently appointed as Grand Electa in the Tennessee Order of the Eastern Star. As such, she will represent Middle East Tennessee during the 2024 Grand Chapter. This is an honor bestowed on only 10 people across the state. Carey is a member of Hamblen Chapter #31 in Morristown and currently serves as the chapter’s Worthy Matron.
