Local student earns placement on Furman Dean’s List

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Ella Harrison of Morristown, Tennessee, earned a place on Furman University’s dean’s list for the 2022 fall semester. Furman’s dean’s list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system. Harrison’s parents and/or guardians are Mr. Thomas Harrison and Mrs. Kimberly Harrison.

Iowa State University announces fall 2022 Dean’s List

AMES, Iowa – More than 10,200 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2022 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Three Carson-Newman Cross Country athletes recognized by U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their work in their respective sport and the classroom.

On the men’s side Trent Lovelace , a political science major was recognized.

On the women’s side. Katie Smock , a Physical Therapy major and Imke Van Gog, an Education major, were recognized.

Shorter University announces local Dean’s List Student

ROME, Ga. – Shorter University has announced students named to the dean’s list during the fall semester of 2022. To achieve this honor, students must have been enrolled full time and have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average for the term.

Steven Bevers, of Fayetteville, TN, is among those named to the Fall 2022 dean’s list. Bevers is majoring in Sport Management.
