Gene “Bread Man” Livesay
Gene “Bread Man” Livesay, age 83, left his earthy home and arrived in his Heavenly Home on Sunday, January 29, 2023 a Newport Convalescent Center.
Gene was first a disciple of Jesus Christ and loved asking everyone he met if they were a Christian. His remark to all he met was “I hope to see you in Heaven.” Gene loved hunting, cooking, and fishing, but after his love of Jesus. He loved his family. He was a protector and a provider for his family. He worked for Flowers Bakery where he earned the nickname “Bread Man” and also worked for the State of TN Highway Department. Many years ago, Gene was a faithful worker for the Morristown Rescue Squad.
Much appreciation and thanks goes to Tennova Newport Medical Center, Jefferson Park at Dandridge, Newport Convalescent Center, and Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice.
Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Union Cemetery with Rev. Dale Lusk officiating. Burial will follow.
His favorite Bible Verse is John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
He prayed that he will see you in heaven.
