Jeffrey Allen Ivey, age 43 of Morristown, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at his home.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Trent Earthworks; but in his spare time, he was passionate about music and loved playing the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Dale Lee; aunt, Carolyn Farrow; and cousins, Michael Foster and Brandon Scott Farrow.

He is survived by his children, Skyler Davis and Lexi Abney; his mother, Margaret Crum; stepdad, J.R. Crum; grandmothers, Bernice Lee and Martha Bennett; siblings, Lea (Scotty) Pratt, Jimmy (Kelly) Bailey, and Christy Booze; several nieces & nephews, including Hayley Ivey, Jacoby Pratt, and Miranda Bailey; and many extended family members & friends.

The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM, Monday, January 30, 2023 at Mayes Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7PM.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express love and support may make donations directly to Jeffrey’s family.
