Billy S. Register, age 74, of Morristown, passed away January 23, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a wonderful husband, father, and best friend.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Register; son, Josh Register and his wife, Tami; daughter, Shannon Cross and her husband; Kevin; mother of Josh and Shannon, Lynn Synamon; sister, Beverly Berthelot; grandchildren, Katelyn Baxley and husband, Larry, Jason Vickers and wife, Celena, Taylor Luke and wife, Kaleigh, and Jacob Trent; great grandchildren, Kaleigh and Sam Baxley; brothers-in-law, Ian Bardo and wife, Alicia and family and John Cole and wife, Mary and family; nieces, Tonya Koslo and husband, Tim and family and Tiffany Whitaker and husband, Darrin and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Buren Register, Sr.; mother, Margaret Register; brother, Buren “Joe” Register, Jr.; grandson ,Justin Vickers; and great granddaughters, Faith and Hope Baxley.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Johann Marhling officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Lung Associate or your favorite charity.
