Dorothy “Dot” Collins, age 86 of Morristown, passed away on the evening of January 23, 2023.

Dot will be remembered as a doting grandmother, an active business owner, and an avid fan of University of Tennessee athletics.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Collins; and her parents, Willis and Mary Sue Morgan.

She is survived by her children, Robin King, Mark (Janice) Collins, Regina (Antonio) Rice; grandchildren; Cody (Sarah) King, David (Karlee) Collins, and Becky (Myles Moran) Collins, Jacob Rice, and Madeline Rice; great-grandchildren, Eli Brown and Grayson King; sister, Libby Brooks; nephews, Derek and Dustin Brooks; as well as extended family and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, January 28 2023 at Mayes Mortuary. A funeral service will follow with interment afterwards at Hamblen Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a memorial donation to the charity of your choice.
