Welcome back to the season’s concluding Trojan Talk.

While it is bittersweet to reach our final session, we are thrilled you joined us for this ultimate installment before the year wraps up. The 21st Annual TSSAA State Track Meet AAA championship kicks off today at 9 a.m. within Knoxville. This prestigious athletic event features top-tier high school competitors vying for regional glory across various sporting disciplines. Fans are arriving early at the venue to witness elite talent showcase their skills during a competitive morning session.

The Senior Walk will take place on Monday, May 18 with buses leaving the front of the school at 8 a.m. and taking our Seniors to visit their former elementary and middle schools in their graduation gowns. Seniors must have turned in a field trip permission form in order to attend. Thank you to Witt, Alpha, Manley, Lincoln, and West Elementaries and Lincoln and West View Middles for welcoming us back one more time before graduation!

Student Council is now looking for community sponsors for “Trojan Nation” T-shirts! If you, your business, or your organization would like to sponsor and advertise on the shirts we’ll distribute to all of the faculty and students next school year, please contact moweststuco@gmail.com for more info! Sponsorships are available for $300 or $600. We hope to have all of our donations received by August 12. This beloved tradition can only continue with your help!

Graduates of Hamblen County are gearing up for “Midnight Milestone” on Friday, May 22, a safe and exciting celebration taking place after graduation and lasting all through the night! Seniors who registered for the event can look forward to a night at the College Square Mall packed with games, great food, music, activities, and incredible prizes as they celebrate this major milestone together. Plus, the best part is: everything is FREE thanks to our generous sponsors! REMINDER/ RECORDATORIO

If you have a preference on how you would like your name pronounced and have not spoken with me yet/recorded your name, please try to check in with me ASAP. You will have an opportunity at graduation practice to work on your name with me, but I would ideally like time to work on your name before then. My room is upstairs in the main building in A227.
