Since his sophomore year, Jayden Howard has ran track for Morristown West High School.

Now, his career will continue at the next level. Howard recently signed to run track at King University in Bristol.

Howard’s specialties have been in the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdle.

“I liked the coaches and the campus itself,” Howard said.

He is the son of Brandy and Jason Howard of Morristown. He will be majoring in nursing at King University.

King University competes in Conference Carolinas. Head coach is Jack Brunecz. The men’s track team placed eighth in the Conference Carolinas Championships held in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
