Greg Hurst, 55, of Morristown, passed away on January 14, 2023, at Morristown Hamblen Health Care System.

He was the owner of Hurst Real Estate and Auction Company. He served as the immediate past president of the Lakeway Area Association of Realtors and as a board member for the Tennessee Auction Association. He was a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Kenny and Helen Hurst.

He is survived by his children, Nick (Kasey) Hurst and Ethan Hurst and fiancée Tinsley; grandchildren, Alexandria Hurst and Riley Collins, Bella and Geri Smith; sister, Dawn (Johnny) Wilson and niece, Emily Wilson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 8:00 p.m., with Reverend Carl Crigger officiating. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
