Jerry Lynn Weston Sr., age 71, of Rogersville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2023 after a period of declining health.

Jerry was a simple hardworking man who loved God and his children. He was saved at Roe Junction Church and was a member there. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, especially in the woods watching wildlife. He also loved to garden and share his bounty with his neighbors and friends. More than anything he loved spending time with his children. He was a wonderful father, and will be greatly missed.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7.

He was preceded in death by parents, Dana and Shirley Weston; brothers, Austin, Ted, and Joe Weston; sisters, Bea Seals and Debbie Richardson; and infant sister, Cassie Weston.

He is survived by his children, Jerry Lynn Weston Jr. and wife Brandy, Michael Weston and wife Laurie, Tina Fullington and husband Mike; brother Claude Weston; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with Louie Spradling and Rev. Roger Trent officiating.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 11:00 am in Hamblen Memory Gardens. If you plan on attending the graveside service, please meet at the cemetery by 10:45 am.
