Billie A. Champ, age 89 of Morristown, passed away on January 5th, 2023. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lee Champ, Sr; parents, Fred Brascom & Bertha Ellen Ramsey; brothers, James L. Ramsey & Bobby Ray Ramsey; sister, Joyce Denton; and granddaughter, Lisa Jones-Smith.

She is survived by daughters, Sue (Dean) Waddell of White Pine, Patsy A. Quinton, & Mary Champ-Canter; sons, Allen (Marcella) Champ, and Clarence Lee Champ, Jr. all of Morristown; sister, Betty Jean Hickman of New Mexico; grandchildren, Tina Ellison, Crystal Quinton, Nick (Samantha) Williams, Megan (Tim) Smith, Terry (Kitty) Brown, Mary Beth (Bill) Cleaver, Wesley (Dorothy) McMahan, & Alison Canter; great-grandchildren, Blake Ellison, Tiffany Smith, Candice Ellison, Brooklyn Bailey, Trevor Bailey, Peyton Bailey, Demi Cleaver, Drayvien Cleaver, Trinity Williams, Malachi Williams, Zander Smith, Zaxton Smith, Zoey Smith, & Zaylee Smith; and great-great grandchildren, Stormy Smith, Ali Rose Dyke, Nevaeh Shaffer, & Ryland Ellison.

The family will receive friends at Mayes Mortuary from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m.. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023 at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
