Mae Harvey, age 92, of Thorn Hill, passed away suddenly Wednesday January 11, 2023. Mae was a member of Rock Bridge Baptist Church. She was very proud of the many years of service she spent cooking at Flat Gap Elementary School. She is preceded in death by her parents Neal Harvey and Dora Winstead Harvey. Brothers Bud Harvey, Carl Harvey and Cooper Harvey. Sister Bonnie (Ray) Dalton. She is survived by her brother Ralph (Juanita) Harvey. Sisters-in-law Estelle Pond, Jan McClain, and Dana June Wolfe. Special friend Dennis Barnard. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday January 14, 2023 from 12 until 1 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Turnmire Cemetery in Thorn Hill.
