Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System recently announced it will soon welcome board-certified internal medicine physician, Dennis Rainwater, MD, to its team at Hamblen Primary Care.

He will join the office on Jan. 11.

Rainwater, who is board certified in Internal Medicine, has practiced medicine since 1985 and brings more than 35 years of experience to the position.

“I’ve provided compassionate, personalized care for three decades,” Rainwater said. “I enjoy the healthcare partnership that I share with my patients and I’m grateful for the privilege to practice medicine.

“I look forward to serving the people of Morristown and the surrounding area.”

His clinical interests include: Chronic Disease Management, COPD, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Preventative Medicine, Thyroid Disease and Wound Care. He graduated from East Tennessee State University and Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City.
