RUTLEDGE – Grainger outscored Claiborne 22-8 in both the first and third periods and that propelled the Lady Grizzlies to a 62-36 win Tuesday night at The Den.

Adison Hayes led Grainger with 17 points with Maddie Hurst netting 15 and Alyvia Sneed adding 11. The Lady Bulldogs were paced by Allie Jones who scored 12 points and Hannah Fugate finished the game with 10 points.

Four Grizzlies finished in double figures as the Grizzlies cruised to a 69-44 victory over Claiborne on Tuesday.

Drew Branson continues to impress on offense as he scored 24 points against the Bulldogs only one game after he netted 30 against Cosby. Carter Williams tallied 12 points with both Brady Smith and Ryland Burchett ending the contest with 10 points each. Ethan Cupp was the only Bulldogs to get into double figures in scoring as he had 21.

Both Grainger teams travel to Greeneville on Friday.
