Dorothy Kelley Simpson, age 94 of Talbott, TN passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023 at Jefferson Park at Dandridge. She was an active member at Alpha Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for many years. Countless children will forever remember her as Mrs. Dot.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Simpson, parents, Benjamin and Susie Kelley, siblings, Cecelia Fox, Junior Kelley, John Kelley, Billy James Kelley.

She is survived by sister, Clara Gallaher, daughter, Susan (David) Adams, son, David (Susan) Simpson, grandchildren, Kelley Carroll, Christy (Tim) McMurray, Nicole (Eric) Kincaid, Brandy Gass, and David A. Simpson, 10 great- grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 5PM until 7PM, with a funeral service to follow at 7PM. Rev. Eric Kincaid and Rev. Jimmy Inman officiating.
