Wanda “Denise” Seal, age 63 of Whitesburg, passed peacefully in her home on February 8, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord, her husband, and her family with all her heart. Anyone who knew her, knows that she loved to shop and bless others. From her days as manager at Bookland, to her days at Center for Orthopedic Excellence, she brought joy to everyone that she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Williams; her Pap, Paul West and grandmother, Josie West. Survivors include her husband, Mark Seal; mother Vennie Williams; children, Crystal (Russ) Norton, Taylor (Seth) Linkous; Evan Seal, & Jonathan Seal; and grandchildren, Isaiah Long, Hannah Long, Keylee Linkous, Haven Linkous, Titus Linkous, Hunter Norton, Ashton Norton, and Kayleigh Norton; and brother, Todd Williams.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Avalon Hospice Care & Susie Linkous for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Mayes Mortuary with Pastor Tony Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
