Salvatore Gregory Aversa, age 75, passed away on February 24, 2023.

He was formerly of Utica, NY and moved to Morristown, TN in 2016. He was a graduate of the Utica Free Academy and worked as a welder and pipefitter before attending SUNY (The State University of New York). He served in the National Guard, and was employed by the Department of Defense assigned to the Navy in San Diego, CA as a cost accountant. He was a member of Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore “Sam” Aversa and Evelyn (Zeck) Aversa, and his brother, Richard Aversa.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Aversa; several cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives; and special friends, Derek and Jeni Lord, Terry and Mitzi Sanders, and Richard Bloss.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
