Claiborne man sentenced to 105 years

A Claiborne County man was sentenced to 105 years behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple acts of child sexual abuse including rape of a child, incest, and statutory rape.

Dominque Justice pled guilty previously to 28 counts of the rape of a child, 48 counts of incest and 20 counts of aggravated statutory rape.

On Friday, Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court Judge Zachary R. Walden sentenced Justice, according to 8th District Attorney General Jared Effler.

Effler added the case was investigated and prosecuted by Detective Rocky White and Lieutenant Detective Jason Henegar with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office. The Claiborne County Child Advocacy Center and the Department of Children’s Services were an integral part of the investigation and prosecution in this case.

The state was represented by Assistant District Attorney Carla N. Brewer at sentencing with assistance from Assistant District Attorneys Courtney Rickert and Graham Wilson during the investigation and trial preparation phases of the case.
