Billy Lynn “Goat” Myers, age 75 of Morristown, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born Oct. 17, 1947.

He worked for over forty years with Union Camp / International Paper. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church; a proud veteran of the US Army, and an avid fan of UT athletics.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell Glenn & Mildred Inman Myers; brothers, William Glenn Myers & Joseph Daniel Myers; and granddaughter, Sierra Jane Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Agnes Jane Toby Myers; daughters, April Nichole Myers (Troy) Lawson, Amber Brooke Myers (Clint) Spencer; and Kaye (Tony) Southerland; grandchildren, Megan M. Clevenger, William Isaiah Wright, Jessie Nichole Mitchell, Trinity Gracelynn Fortner, Cooper Scott Fortner, Landyn Spencer, Grace Spencer; Brody Spencer, David Southerland, Ashley Southerland, & Tony Southerland, II; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Myers (Paul) Carter & Judith Myers (Paul) Holbert; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family & friends.

The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Mayes Mortuary. A funeral service will follow at 7PM with Pastor Gary White officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place at 1PM, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
