Eastern Star Installs New Officers

Tate Spring Chapter #425 Order of the Eastern Star has selected a new slate of officers for the coming year. New Worthy Matron, Kimberly White, has chosen “March Forward with Harmony” as her theme for the coming year. Her colors are purple, yellow, and silver and her flower is the Iris.
The Order of the Easter Star is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both men and women may belong and has been in existence for 170 years. The members are proud of their long history of providing service to their community. Tate Spring Chapter has been active in Bean Station for 73 years.
New officers and their titles:
Kimberly White – Worthy Matron; Sylvan Jarvis – Worthy Patron; Glenda Davis – Associate Matron; Gene Byrd – Associate Patron; Secretary – Anna Dalton; Treasurer – Angela Dalton; Conductress – Kathryn Stewart; Associate Conductress – Lois Overbay; Chaplain – Helen Green; Marshal – Richie Dalton; Organist – Rhonda Reagan.
Representing the 5 points of the Star are Lana Ferguson, Lorie Gibson, Donna Winstead, Pam Byrd, and Samantha Purkey.
Jack Davis and Ruth Brooks will serve as Warder and Sentinel.
The installation team included Linda Brewer, Past Matron of Hamblen #31, who served as installing officer; Dianne Madsen, Past Matron of Bulls Gap #471, who served as installing marshal; Susan Thames, Past Matron of Hasson #179, who served as installaing chaplain; and Caleb Howard.
