Julia Faye Dotson, age 78 of Jefferson City passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Life Care of Jefferson City.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tivis Ray Dotson; parents, Weldon and Catherine Scott; brothers James Scott and Cecil Scott; sisters, Polly Lones and Lucy Scott.

Julia leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Tim Sather; grandchildren, Elizabeth Tarlton (Johnny Lee), Ashlee Pope, Tim Sather Jr. (Danielle), Chase Sather; great-grandchildren, Hunter Tarlton, Harleigh Tarlton, Kaleb Pope, Kaylee Pope, Kourtlynn Pope, Jaxson Sather, Kinzlee Sather; Rilee Sather sister, Lorene Hoard; special niece, Sabrina Blair; a host of nieces and nephews; her beloved pet, Max

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1st at Flat Gap Baptist Church 515 Hinchey Hollow Rd, New Market, TN 37820 with Pastor Gabe Walker officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. A private burial will be held in New Market Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers donations in memory of Julia should be made to Flat Gap Baptist Church.
