Ronnie Wolfenbarger, age 75 of Thorn Hill, went to be with the Lord March, 9, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

He was saved at a young age and a member of Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

He was valedictorian of his senior class in 1966. He retired from Magnavox with 37 years of service.

Ronnie was preceded in death by father, Claude Wolfenbarger; stepmom, Leon Wolfenbarger of Thorn Hill; mother, Dorothy Tibbs of Knoxville.

He is survived by half sisters, Pam (Ricky) Strange, Patty (Jay) Henderlight of Knoxville, TN; half brother, Charles (Vita) Tibbs of Pensacola, Florida, and a host of family and friends; and caregiver, Sheila Dalton of Thorn Hill.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 5-7pm. Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Rev. Steve Johnson, Rev. Leonard Dalton, and Rev. Tim Bowlin officiating. Singing will be by Brenda Bowlin.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Claude Wolfenbarger Cemetery in Thorn Hill. Pallbearers are: Josh Helton, Trevor Harvey, Curtis Wolfenbarger, Charles Wolfenbarger, Stanley Bunch, and Jeff Bowlin. Honorary pallbearers are: Herb Martin, Larry Seay, and Norman Jarnigan.
