Frances Jean Nichols, age 76, of Morristown, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at Tennova NorthMedical Center in Knoxville.

She was a very loving, caring, and thoughtful mother, sister, nana, and friend. She loved living, her friends, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John (Pearl) Shelton and Maxie Shelton; uncle, Harold and aunt, Mary Houseright; uncle, Virgil Lawless; and her husband, Charles Nichols.

She is survived by her brother, John (Janice) Houseright; son, Michael Aaron (Suzanne) Miller; brother, Johnny Wayne (Janet) Shelton; sister, Brenda (Dean) Ford; grandson, Michael Hayden Miller; and her special friends, April Southerland, Kristen Moore, and Jerrell Elliot.
