Bonnie Trent Short, age 94, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her residence. She met her Savior at the age of fourteen at Big Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member and held on to that faith until death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Short; parents, George and Nola Trent; step-mother, Hannah Trent; sisters, Blanche Lovin and Ina Knight; brother, Norman Trent; father and mother-in-law, B.T. and Susie Short; six sisters-in-law; and seven brothers-in-law.

She is survived by her sons, Rick (Renea) Short and Robby Short; grandson, Brian (Jessica) Short; great-granddaughter, Destry Short; sister-in-law, Carol Matthews; special nephew, Randy Trent; and many more nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Amedysis Hospice staff, Jennifer, Victoria, and Earlene.

Private graveside services will be held at Big Hill Cemetery in Mooresburg with Rev. Terry Greene officiating.
