Local Feel Good Story

My name is Autumn and I work with the Sing Me a Story Foundation. We are working on a project locally and we think it would be a fantastic, feel-good story for your network.

Sing Me a Story creates songs for families in need based on the imaginative stories of their children. Sing Me a Story has connected with the Morristown East High School Choir to bring two kids affiliated with Nashville’s ALS Association an experience of a lifetime!

Layla and Cullen (ages 7 and 3) have been given the opportunity to write and illustrate a story about whatever they want. They created an epic story about their annual trip to the beach! You can read it here. That story has been given to a composition student at the University of Tennessee. The composer, Michael Ray, an acclaimed composer, and musician, has turned their story into a choral piece to be performed live for Layla and Cullen’s family by members of the high school choir.

The concert is scheduled for May, we’d love to capture this story on an even bigger stage if possible! We hope to be in touch.

Thank you so much for your time!
