Denise Moore Brooks, 59, of Morristown, was carried home in the arms of Jesus, on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

She was a faithful longtime member of Kingswood Primitive Baptist Church in Morristown. She worked at Happy Hearing (Patriot Center for Hearing) since it opened in 2004. Prior to that, she worked in the office of The Country Club and Roy Widener Motor Lines. She loved to meet new people and never met a stranger. She had a quick wit and generous spirit. Denise was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Ronnie Brooks and father, Willard Moore.

She is survived by her son, Joey Brooks; sister, Teresa Moore Stepp; mother, Gerri Ridley Moore; special aunt, Sara Elizabeth “Cricket” Brown, as well as several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 5:00 p.m. with Elder Terry Sizemore officiating.

Graveside services are planned for 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
