The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra has announced a three-day series of free, family-friendly community concerts this May in Maryville, Morristown and Knoxville.
KSO Resident Conductor James Fellenbaum will lead the KSO in the trio of concerts featuring a wide array of works, including “Stars and Stripes” by John Philip Sousa, “The Man I Love” by George Gershwin and more.
“I am excited to join the KSO in concerts throughout our community,” Fellenbaum said. “We have wonderful music to share, from famous light classics to Gershwin to Broadway. I hope everyone will come out to see this fantastic orchestra!”
Picnic blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. In cases of light rain, the concerts will take place as scheduled.
In cases of cold temperatures or thunderstorms, the concerts will be postponed.
