East Tennessee Christian Educators Conference to be held at Lakeway Christian Academy

White Pine, TN – Lakeway Christian Academy is set to host the second annual East Tennessee Christian Educators Conference intended to equip teachers and school leaders with best practices in Christ-centered private Christian education.

The 2nd annual ETCEC is set to take place on July 13, 2023. The conference, hosted by Lakeway Christian Schools, with partner schools, Concord Christian Academy, The Kings Academy (Knoxville, TN) and Providence Academy (Johnson City, TN). The conference will focus on equipping leaders and teachers with biblical strategies to help transform lives of students so they may impact the world for Christ.

The conference will feature keynote speakers such as Dr. Bryan Smith (BJU Press) and Dr. Annie Gallagher (Transformed PD) who will address a wide range of topics including biblical worldview and Christ-centered teaching strategies.

Attendees will have access to over 20 workshops led by experienced Christian educators, school leaders, local and federal government agencies in The Department of Homeland Security and FBI, covering topics on relationship building, developing leaders, and best practices in school safety and security.

“Christian education plays a vital role in the spiritual formation and growth of our students and communities,” said Mr. Jeramy Ezell, M.Ed. Chairman of the East TN Christian Educators Conference. “This conference provides an opportunity for leaders and teachers to come together and learn from some of the most respected voices in the Christian education community and create unity in collaboration within the private sector.”

In addition to the main conference sessions and workshops, attendees can participate in networking events and exhibitor booths featuring the latest resources, continuing education opportunities. and curriculum materials.

“We are excited to offer this conference as a place of learning, growth, and inspiration for Christian educators across the Eastern part of Tennessee,” said Mr. Ezell. “Our hope is that attendees will leave equipped with practical strategies and tools that they can implement in their own ministries to help transform lives and their communities.”
