Bonnie Jean Smith, age 83, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

She was a member of Fairview Bible Baptist Church for over sixty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Dona Musick; son, Billy Joe Smith; daughter, Diane Jordan; brothers, Robert Musick, Tommy Musick,and Billy Musick; sister, Shirley Davis Gregg; and granddaughter, Ashley Reynolds.

She is survived by her son, David (Robyn) Smith; grandchildren, Abby (Jonathon) Dalton, Hannah and Gracie Smith, April (Kevin) Hobba, and Aaron Maner; great-grandchildren, Blake Jones, Acea (Ethan) Ferguson, Allie Hope, Eli Dalton, and Hudson and Raylan Hobba; sister, Lois Holdway; daughter-in-law, Debbie Smith; and several great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Fairview Bible Baptist Church in Bonnie’s memory.
