Bible Aires Baptist Church, 1086 Old Witt Road in Morristown, will not have its regular monthly singing Saturday evening due to a death in the church family. The next singing will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 13. Pastor is Bro. Kenny Davis.

Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, in the Lee Valley community of Hawkins County, will have a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m., Sunday, April 9 at the church. There will also be the regular worship service at 10:30 a.m. Revival also starts Sunday, April 9 at t 6:30 p.m. with evangelists Fletcher Porter and Cody Carter. Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 420 North Henry Street in Morristown, will have an Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, games and coloring of eggs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 8. Everyone welcome. Pastor is Elder J.W. Dukes, Jr.

Fernwood Church, located on Fernwood Road in Morristown, will be having their Sunrise Service at 7 a.m., Sunday, April 9 at Carter Cemetery. Afterwards there will be an Easter Fellowship Breakfast in the fellowship hall. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and Worship Services begin at 11 a.m.; everyone is invited to attend. Rev. Freedom Chapel Church, located at 1721 Helton Road in Bean Station, will have a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m., Sunday, April 9. The church will also have a morning service at 10 a.m. No evening services. Everyone welcome. Pastor is Rev. Jason Cotter.

Mount Airy United Methodist Church, located at 2500 Fish Hatchery Road in Morristown, will host the following events: Community Egg Hunt April 8 at 2 p.m. for children ages 2 – 12; Sunrise Service April 9 at 7 a.m.; Traditional Easter Worship Service April 9 at 9:30 a.m. Everyone welcome. New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, located at 445 Panther Creek Creek Road in Morristown, will have a Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m., Sunday, April 9 outdoors. A full breakfast will be available in the Fellowship Hall following the service. The regular service will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday with Pastor Bryan Cottrell bringing the message. Rogersville First United Methodist Church, located at 110 Colonial Road in Rogersville, has announced its service schedule for Easter Week services.

Friday, April 7, there will be a Good Friday Tenebrae Service at 7 p.m. with the Chancel Choir presenting, “It Is Finished,” a musical Tenebrae Service.

Saturday, April 8, the annual children’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the church from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Bring a basket and a friend.

Sunday, April 9, Easter Cantata, 11:00 a.m. The Chancel Choir will present “Two Crowns,” a moving musical presentation of the Easter story. Everyone welcome to all events. Pastor is Rev. Elaine Ruth.

Panther Springs United Methodist Church has announced its schedule of Holy Week services:

Friday, April 7 at 7 pm, their Good Friday Service will be held at their sister church, Bethel UMC, 703 North Cumberland Street.

On April 9, 7 am, EASTER Sunday, a Sunrise Service will be held in the Pavilion at Panther Springs UMC. A light breakfast will be served in the Fellowship Hall after the Sunrise Service followed at 9 a.m. by regular Worship Service in the Sanctuary.
