As drivers on East Morris Blvd are well aware, a recent Norfolk-Southern project on the railroad crossing in the eastern industrial park has created a jarring condition for drivers, city of Morristown leaders said in a release.

Correction of this issue is a top priority for the city, officials said, adding that scheduled paving work will begin as soon as possible.

Crews should be working in this area beginning Monday, April 24, and work should not take more than a day or two.

Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures as work progresses.

Please be cautious of workers and pay attention to signage if traveling through this area.
