Jerry Thomas “Tommy” Greenlee, age 68 of Rutledge, went to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, April 24, 2023.

Tommy was born in Rutledge, TN to his parents, Frank and Ruth Greenlee.

Tommy was a lifelong member of New Blackwell Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and Sunday School Teacher.

Tommy was an avid and lifelong trader and built many friendships because of it. From dogs to knives, he was always in search of the next best deal. If he wasn’t trading, you could find him in the barn or at a sheep show.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Ruth Greenlee and brother; Terry (Teresa) Greenlee, all of Rutledge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years; Phyllis Greenlee, son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Ivy Greenlee of Dickson, TN and a host of loving sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5pm – 8pm at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge, TN. Funeral service 1pm, Friday, April 28, 2023 at New Blackwell Baptist Church in Rutledge, TN with Rev. Gary Satterfield, Rev. Frank Barnette, and Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenlee family Cemetery in Rutledge, TN.
