Mai Day: 1907 hosts traditional German MaiFest

1907 Brewing Company brought MaiFest to Morristown last weekend in collaboration with Knoxville’s Schulz Brau Brewing Company.
MaiFest is the traditional German celebration of the arrival of spring.
The day’s festivities included German food from Poyner’s Pommes frites, a pop-up sweet shop from Flour Garden Bakery, games, giveaways, a stein hoisting competition, and live music from Kaleb Mullins & The Witness.
“We enjoyed working with our friend Ben Oliver from Schulz Brau Brewing Company to bring another event like this to Morristown,” said Leslie Beach, General Manager from 1907 Brewing Company. “It is important to us to provide a fun and comfortable atmosphere for the community we love. We are proud to be family friendly place where you can enjoy game nights, a get together with friends, or one of our many events like live music.”
Schulz Brau Brewing Company will also be holding its inaurgual Ritterfest in Knoxville April 14-16.
Ritterfest is a medieval festival showcasing knights, beer, minstrels, merchants and more.
