Walters State Community College student Gabrielle Barca, an English major from Telford, received a second place award for her short fiction submission, “Red Christmas.” The story was published in the 2023 edition of “Tennessee Mosaic” regional literary anthology published by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community college students.
