MPD asks for information on car possibly related to Saturday homicide

The Morristown Police Department continues to ask for the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects in a fatal shooting in Morristown early Saturday morning.
Police are asking anyone that may have come into contact with the pictured vehicle, a white 2005 Pontiac Vibe, Friday night into Saturday morning to contact investigators immediately.
This vehicle was stolen in west Hamblen County late Friday night.
The vehicle was found abandoned shortly after the incident.
Surveillance video in the area also captures the vehicle approaching a subject who was walking near the Sunoco gas station in Buffalo Trail at approximately 12:35 am Saturday morning.
The individual, pictured in the attached screen shot, is not suspected of any wrongdoing, investigators are asking him to come forward to give any information he may have about the vehicle and occupants.
This shooting left 26-year-old Julio Torres dead in his vehicle outside his residence at Five Point Mobile Home Park.
Police continue to ask that anyone with home or business surveillance systems in the area check their footage for this vehicle or any suspicious persons and report it to police.
