Cecil Mills, age 89, of Morristown passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at Morristown Hamblen Hospital after a brief illness. He was a faithful, life-long member of Enterprise Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Aileen; parents, Henry and Lilly Mae Mills; brother, Jim (Ann) Mills, and great-grandson Brandon Ray.

Survivors include his children Susie and Ronald DuBois and Danny and Teresa Mills. Grandchildren are Nathan and Melody DuBois, Jason and Candace DuBois, Jessica and Chris Covington, Danny II and Hannah Mills; Brittany and Erick Simonds. Great-grandchildren are Hannah DuBois, Kaylee DuBois, Avery Simonds, Carson Simonds, and Case Mills.

Cecil was an employee of Enka for 44 years and served more than 25 years on the Board of Directors for Lowland Credit Union.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mayes Mortuary. A funeral will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Noe and Rev. James Williams officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
