Superhero 5K to benefit Isaiah House 117
F
The Hamblen County Isaiah 117 House is nearly to the finish line … or maybe the starting line, depending on how you look at it.
To open an Isaiah House the local chapter needs a certain amount of money – $25,000 – in savings to make sure the house will be able to open and run appropriately.
To help reach that goal, the Isaiah House is hosting the Super Hero 5K on June 24 in Downtown Morristown.
“We are so close to opening the Hamblen County House,” Program Coordinator Jessica Lyle said. “We’d love to see community support to help us get to our goal. Whether you like to run or not, there are so many ways to get involved or give. We appreciate our sponsors and look forward to racing to the ribbon cutting in June.”
The cost to enter will be $25 per runner or for $30 you can stay home in bed and get an event T-shirt shipped to your home.
Tyler Hamilton of the Morristown Dental Center is sponsoring the event.
Check in and registration will be at Posh Medical Spa and vendors will be set up
Registration at 7 a.m. race at 8 a.m.
Runners and sponsors needed.
You can register online through the Event Brite website or see the Hamblen County Isaiah House 117 web page.
