The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at the Marathon on Highway 139 in Dandridge on May 10 at 10:24 p.m.

Three individuals entered the Marathon wearing hoodies and face masks. Tow of them walked behind the counter taking various tobacco products such as cigarettes, cigars, rolling papers, and a substantial amount of cash, while another individual was watching the front door.

Surveillance video showed one of the robbers putting a small caliber handgun on the counter.

At 10:26 p.m., all three left the scene in a newer model white Toyota Corolla traveling on Hwy 139 toward Sevier County.
