The Morristown-Hamblen Library will host its Carnival Fundraiser this Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
There will be over 15 carnival games spread out through the first floor of the library. Each game costs 50 cents per play.
Among the long list of games include, Kapong Ball, Sucker Pull, Duck Pond, Mystery Box, Balloon Pop, Put Put, Corn hole, Bowling and so much more.
Most games guarantee a prize and then some depend on how well you play the game.
There will be a variety of food and snacks outside of the library for the attendees to enjoy.
All of the money raised will go towards the remodeling of the George S. Hale Community Room.
The community room is used for various activities including meetings, receptions, birthday parties, baby showers, and so much more.
“The community room is a very vital part of our community,” said Rita Wood, circulation specialist. “It caters to every age range from our little artist programs to adults for celebrations of life and birthday parties.
The library encourages everyone to attend to help show their support for the room.
“We hope everyone comes out because we just want to do all that we can to support the community room and keep it up to date so the community can continue to enjoy it.”
