Ana Mariea Samsel, 63 of Jefferson City, formally of Morristown, passed away on May 15, 2023 at her residence. Ana was born on Oct. 26 to Douglas and Joan Christian.

Ana was a very talented artist and was an avid animal lover.

Ana was preceded in death by her parents, her precious daughter: Shaylynn Mariea Samsel Brooks, grandson: Hayden Edward; brother: Doug Christian, and sisters: Donna Kesterson and Cathy Dillmon.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, J.W. Samsel; daughter: Jaymie Lee Samsel (Courtney); brothers: Dan (Carolyn) Christian, Tony Cox and sister: Patricia (Tootie) Oquin. Sister-in-law: Vicky Christian. Special niece: Heather Bible, and several other nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of Ana’s life will be Sunday, May 21, 2023 ar 4:00 PM in Pilot Knob Cemetery. Rev. Robert White officiating.
