James R. Smith “Robby” age 65 of Morristown, TN passed away suddenly on May 18, 2023 at his home. He worked at Howmet for 20 years. Robby loved riding motorcycles, good music, and he loved going to the beach with his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Una Lee Calfee Smith, and brother, Tracy Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Rose Ann West Smith, daughters, Sara (Johnny) McElroy, and Jesse Smith, special and only grandson, Jonathan “JJ” McElroy, step-son, Scotty Bloomer, father, Jim Smith, sister, Kim (Stanley) Wolfe, and brother, Jason Smith, as well as several nieces and nephews.

An informal celebration of life gathering will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm at Alder Funeral Home.
