Noah’s Arc to host pet rescue event

Noah’s Arc Pet rescue is hosting its first ever adoption event this Saturday.

Noah’s Arc is a nonprofit rescue and began in 1991. Since then, it has grown from having only 6 members when it first began, to now having over 400 members in and out of the state of Tennessee. The rescue runs solely on donations and fundraisers and all money raised goes directly to helping improve the lives and health of rescued animals.

Last year Noah’s Arc partnered with For Pet’s Sake and together they saved a total of 2,041 animals. That number included 192 kittens, 59 cats, 3 senior cats, 84 senior dogs, 1,217 puppies and 486 adult dogs.

This will be the rescue’s first ever on-site adoption event and they want to invite the community to come check out their facility, love on some four-legged friends and hopefully take one home. Puppies, dogs and cats will be available for adoption.

The event is Saturday May 13 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will be held at their facility at 3754 Nelson School Road in Morristown.
