Faye’s Spa held its ribbon cutting ceremony with the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce Monday morning.

Amy Li, a native of China, moved to United States 5 years ago. In 2021 she became a licensed massage therapist.

After working for a spa in Knoxville for two years she decided to open her own spa in Morristown, a city she grew to love.

“With the combination of both Chinese and American methods of massage therapy, I truly believe my skills and knowledge can cater to the needs of our clients,” she said.

She offers Swedish, Deep Tissue and Couples Massages, each with a different time frames. Rounding out each service is soft lighting, relaxing music, essential oils/aromatherapy and free a hot stone treatments.

“Whether you’re looking for a deep tissue massage to relieve muscle tension or simply a soothing Swedish session our expert therapists are here to help’” She said.

“It is important to take care of ourselves, and in today’s busy world, it can be easy to forget to slow down and relax.” She said. “Taking a few moments each day to breathe deeply and remind yourself to take it easy can do wonders for our mental and physical wellbeing.

One way to further enhance our self-healing practices is through regular massages. Not only do massages help relieve tension and muscle soreness, but they can also promote relaxation and reduce stress levels.”

She believes that her job is more than just providing massages, but giving each client comfort they have lost due to stress.

“For us it is not just about massages, but about wellness,” she said. “We strive to do our best to cater to the needs of each individual client.

When our clients feel relief, it will allow them to do more of the things they love to do. We have been able to help so many clients already.”

The spa is located at 1718 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy, in between Oasis Beauty Bar and In/Out Pizza’s old location.
